Edenmore Golf & Country Club

My wife wanted an “away night” for a change, just not too far from home. We decided on here. We weren’t disappointed. The bedroom itself makes quite a few 5 Star hotel rooms look mediocre. The meal we had was high quality, well presented and served quickly, neatly and with no fuss. The waiters and waitresses were excellent and the bar staff were attentive and well trained. It was so good we’re going back again in December. Can’t rate this place highly enough.

I read another review for Edenmore and realised I dont think I have written one myself! We got married here December 2022 after being engaged for a few years and planning nothing. We decided in June 2022 we would just plan something and wanted 22nd December as our date. I can't even put into words how amazing the staff at Edenmore were. We went for an initial meeting and looked through packages they offered, while we tried some of their beautiful food they could offer on the wedding day. Although nothing was really the perfect fit for us, as we wanted a small intimate ceremony and meal with a larger crowd for the evening reception. However, Lisa the wedding coordinator went above and beyond, customising the package to our needs and wants completely. We couldn't have wanted anything more from a venue both on the run up to the wedding and the day itself. Lisa, Rebecca and all the lovely staff were so kind and helpful to us and our guests on the day and nothing at all was too much hassle. They took any and all stress off of us completely. Our guests were blown away, commenting on the venue itself, the food and the amazing staff. We stayed in the accommodation our wedding night, as did immediate family, and it was one of the most beautiful and luxurious feelings places I have ever stayed. We recently had a dinner in the curious fox on our wedding anniversary and again the food, staff and atmosphere couldn't be faulted. I honestly can't say enough. Thank you for our perfect day.

Visited The Curious Fox with a group for Christmas night out. We had a pre order in but it did take some time to get the food out to us - however they were extremely busy and staff went out of their way to help us! I ordered fish and chef wasn’t 100% happy with the size of the portion so he sent out extra fries which I thought was a nice touch - not many places would do that!

What an amazing place. I attended a wedding here at the weekend and the location is beautiful. Staff kept everything on track and were courteous and helpful. The food was exceptional, and I stayed in one of the newly refurbished rooms, which are beautifully decorated and comfortable. Will definitely be back to sample the food again soon.
